How we got her: There isn't a special story about requesting Anahi- I was just on the list for a correspondence child. But she arrived on my account on my birthday!! So that was a neat surprise.
About her family: Anahi lives with her mom, dad, and little brother Isai. Isai is a toddler. They like to watch TV together. Anahi's mom writes all her letters for her, and they are just the sweetest. I hope that someday I am able to meet both Anahi and her momma! According to Compassion's website, Anahi's mom sells tortillas for a living, which sounds pretty awesome to me.
Hobbies and interests: Anahi is the sweetest, most bubbly little girl. She likes playing and dancing. She likes to eat- she has mentioned food in several of her letters. She likes to draw and color and always makes really sweet pictures for me. Her favorite animal is the turtle, so I was happy to find some turtle stuff for her when I sent her a gift! I can't wait to find out what she thinks of everything, and I hope I get an extra picture of her!

"Anahi is happy because she passed her 1st grade with 95%, she is in the honor roll and she is heading to 2nd grade. Anahi says she loves to read Bible stories. She says you both have something in common: reading."
